Its lightweight design is achieved through the use of a composite lower pan and cowling, a single-ram power trim and tilt mechanism, and a lightweight mounting bracket. The engine’s Phaze Five™ paint system includes electro-deposition of anti-corrosive paint on both the inside and outside passages of the engine block, enhancing durability and resistance to corrosion.

• Variable Trolling RPM (VTS): Compatible with Yamaha’s Command Link® tachometer, allowing anglers to adjust trolling speed in 50 rpm increments from 600 to 1,000 rpm.
